Nina Simone (Strange Fruit)

A very disturbing video. Left me feeling very numb.

Racism will always be alive as long as there is ignorance and intolerance. Unfortunately, ignorant people also seem to be good at bullying, and thus the evil spreads through fear, intimidation and the desire to fit in and not be bullied in turn.

I see pupils at my daughter's school who pick on their peers who are 'different' - it can be because of race, intelligence, body size, even hair colour. I am so proud that my daughter always fights for the underdog and stamps it out as much as possible. I just wish more adults had her integrity.

Sounds like your daughter is well on her way to being an important part of the world's tomorrow!
